Partner Highlight: Greenlock Therapeutic Riding Center

Four Echoes at Grist Mill Pond’s mission is to seek justice, create beauty, and build relationships with God and with others. We do this through three major initiatives: by serving the poor, providing hope to the next generation, and offering compassion and dignity to those who are marginalized in our society. In addition to our own programs, we partner with organizations in the community who are already at work making a difference in these areas.

Greenlock Therapeutic Riding Center in Rehoboth, MA is one such organization. Greenlock “utilizes equine-related activities for the therapy of individuals with physical, developmental, and emotional differences.” The need is great with the population they serve and they make it their mission to keep fees affordable to maximize their reach.

Annually, they host the Gallop for Greenlock 5K fundraiser to support their mission. We invite you to participate in this fantastic family event, October 2, 2022 as a runner or volunteer. For more information and to register, please visit their website.  You may also make a donation at Four Echoes to support Gallop for Greenlock.

Mission: Feed Ukraine

Four Echoes Shoppes and Stone Coast Community Church is proud to partner with Papillon Enterprise and World Central Kitchen to support Ukrainian refuges fleeing to Poland.
Papillon is an organization in Haiti working to solve the orphan crisis by providing training and sustainable jobs for parents in needs. They have hand made bracelets of PEACE to support our Ukrainian brothers and sisters in need.
All proceeds from these bracelets will be donated to World Central Kitchen–a non-profit responding to the humanitarian crisis in Poland by serving its Ukrainian neighbors.
Your $25 (or more) donation helps to provide a fair wage to Haitian men and women AND provide hot meals to Ukrainians in need. All donors will receive a beautifully handmade bracelet as a symbol of your generosity.
You can pre-order a bracelet today by making a donation online or by cash or check at our shoppes.
Together, we’re making a difference in this world!

SoleCare: Shoe Drive

One of Four Echoes’ major initiatives is to bring hope and dignity to those experiencing homelessness. We do this by meeting the needs of homeless in our local area. Winter is particularly harsh on their often worn, ill-fitting, insufficient footwear. While used footwear can be a blessing, there is dignity in receiving a pair of new shoes in the correct style and size.

We’re excited to again host SoleCare: Shoe Drive to provide new shoes to the homeless in and around Providence in collaboration with Mathewson Street Church. We’re hopeful and anticipate impacting over 125 people in need this year. Please join us in bringing hope and dignity to our neighbors by donating to SoleCare: Shoe Drive. Here are three easy ways to participate:

  1. Purchase directly on our Amazon Charity List by clicking here (shoes will be shipped directly to Four Echoes).
  2. Make a financial donation of $25 to provide a new pair of shoes at our shoppe (any amount is appreciated and welcomed)
  3. Drop off a NEW pair of sneakers or boots–men’s or women’s, any size–to Four Echoes at 380 Fall River Ave, Seekonk, MA. (Please note, we are only accepting NEW sneakers or boots for this drive.)

Donations can be made at Four Echoes at Grist Mill Pond, in Seekonk, MA or online via Stone Coast Community Church.

Let’s make a difference together in our community!
